memory tag

This is from Melissa's blog- Here is what you do:
1. Post a memory that you have of me (all good, of course). It doesn't matter how long you have known me-it could even be a blog memory
2. Post these instructions on your blog and wait for the responses-should be fun to see. I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours. I will come to your blog and post my memory of you!
Have fun!

Well, in general I remember how sweet and nurturing and cautious you always were; that's where Grace gets her little mothering trait, ya know ;). How many times do you think you said, "I don't know if we should do that, Melissa..." while I went ahead and did it anyway.

You named some of the really good ones. A specific memory is when we were teens and would walk through K-Mart, and I would pretend to go on "K-Mart shopping sprees." You'd get SO SO SO embarrassed! Ahhh, good times. I also remember all of our midnight skis in the woods with dad, just the three of us, and fighting over who had to go last - or was it first? - the middle was really the coveted spot.

I remember all of us at Grandpa and Grandma's on the holidays and you always played with Amanda like she was a little doll. She really is. :)

Ahhhh...I remember walking through the rain when you really thought it would clear up, but it just got harder and harder. We also laughed so hard we almost had "accidents". The good ol' days. Oh wait, that was 3 days ago. Oops!

I remember sharing a room with you. 2 good memories about that. The night before Christmas, after you knew about the whole Santa thing, but I still didn't, you told me that we should listen for the reindeer bells on the roof and that if we looked hard enough, we could even see Rudolph's nose! I also remember the night before school started each year we would lay in bed and talk about our excitement and anxiety for the new year. I also have some not-so-pleasant memories, but we don't need those! Sharing a room can't always be pleasant!
